A senior Trump administration official said this week that evidence related to alleged irregularities in the 2020 election could soon be made public.
Speaking at a Breitbart News event, U.S. Chief of Protocol Monica Crowley said President Donald Trump “won in a landslide” and claimed evidence supporting that assertion would be released soon, though she did not provide details.
The comments echo statements from other Trump allies who have alleged misconduct surrounding the 2020 election. However, courts, state election officials, and Congress previously upheld the election results, which declared former President Joe Biden the winner.
The remarks come as federal investigators continue examining election materials seized earlier this year from the Fulton County Election Hub in Georgia. FBI agents executed a court-approved search warrant in January, collecting ballots, voting machine tapes, and voter records as part of an ongoing investigation.
President Trump has suggested that information obtained through the investigation could reveal “interesting things” about the 2020 election, though he has not provided specific evidence or a timeline for any disclosures.
Federal officials have described the search as part of a routine criminal investigation and have not announced any findings or charges. Fulton County officials have challenged the search in court, arguing that federal agents improperly seized election-related data.
