She later trained at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), one of the UK&#8217;s leading acting schools.<\/p>\n<p>Her breakthrough came when she was cast as Aimee Gibbs in the hit Netflix series Sex Education, which brought her international recognition. Despite insecurities about her appearance and industry expectations, she gained success by embracing authenticity rather than trying to fit traditional beauty standards.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/terbv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/shutterstock_2753730495-2048x1363-1-300x200.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Today, Wood is known not only for her acting talent but also for her openness about mental health, neurodiversity, self-acceptance, and body image.
